  2. Open PadVPN and sign in, or tap Connect to Free when it's offered.
  3. Tap the power button and allow the VPN request.

Mac

Beta

An early version for macOS 12 or later. Open Terminal, paste this line and press Return:

curl -fsSL https://padvpn.com/install-mac.sh | bash
  1. PadVPN installs in Applications and opens by itself.
  2. Tap Connect to Free or sign in.
  3. The first time you connect, your Mac asks for its password once.

It installs this way because this beta isn't signed by Apple yet. To update, run the same line again. To remove it, run sudo bash /Applications/PadVPN.app/Contents/Resources/uninstall.sh

Windows

Beta

Download PadVPN for Windows

  1. Open the downloaded file. If Windows says it protected your PC, choose More info, then Run anyway.
  2. Choose Yes when Windows asks, and let the installer finish.
  3. Open PadVPN, then tap Connect to Free or sign in.

For 64-bit Windows 10 or 11. Windows shows that warning because this beta isn't signed yet. To update, install the new version over this one. To remove it, use Settings, then Apps.

Other devices

iPhone, Linux and routers connect with a short setup from your account.

Troubleshooting

Not connecting?

Try these in order. Most problems are fixed by step 2 or 3.

1. Check your plan and device

Sign in to your hub. Make sure your plan is active and you haven't reached your data limit for this cycle, and that the device still appears in your device list.

2. Try another location

Choose a different location and connect to that. If one location is temporarily offline, its status shows on the locations page.

3. Try another network or a backup connection

Some public and office Wi-Fi networks block VPN connections. Try mobile data or another Wi-Fi to see whether the network is the cause, or use a backup connection.

4. Connected, but some sites won't load

This is usually caused by the network you're on. Try another network or location, and if the problem remains, tell support which sites fail.
